Day 23 May Blog Challenge – Life Lessons

Today’s May Blog Challenge Topic is:

Day 23, Thursday: Things you’ve learned that school won’t teach you…

1.  A lot of people giving a little can add up to something big.

2. What can seem like a disaster is actually a turn down a better road but it’s best to  travel that road one day at a time.  Somedays it’s all we have the energy for.

3.  The clouds in the sky, the petals of a flower, a baby’s giggle – these are nourishment to the soul.

4. When you lose someone you love the smallest of memories of them become dear to the heart.

5.   Motherhood can grow you up and teach you lessons that have the ability to shape you into more than you ever imagined you could be.

6. Life will seldom go exactly as you have it planned so don’t hold on too tight – you might miss the adventure that was written just for you and live in the land of disappointment.

7. Knowing Christ is to know I am never alone.

8. Joy is sweeter when it is felt with the gratitude of surviving character building moments.

9. To give without expectation of anything in return is a walk in faith.

10. We are all gifted and have something to offer others.  We find these gifts by knowing ourselves.

  1. Hi Debbie… these are fantastic life lessons! I especially like the last one, and the one about memories of the people we have lost. Thank you so much for sharing! 🙂
