Day 6 May Blog Challenge – Just Me

Today’s topic in the blog every day in May Challenge is:

Day 6, Monday: If you couldn’t answer with your job, how would you answer the question, ‘what do you do’?

I kept needing to remind myself that the question is what I do not who I am and yet I believe what we do is a reflection of who we are. So below you will find a list of actions I do; it’s not a complete list but it’s enough for now of what is important in my life.  Some items in this list are just for a season; others for a lifetime.   Please keep in mind that I only do a few of these things on any given day which I find highly frustrating at times.  But they are my happiness; they order my day; they are the deposits in my life that allow me to be ME.

Spend Time with Family, Giggles, especially with grandson

Find the discipline to be quiet and spend time in God’s word

Work on the creation of a Cookbook for Children’s Cancer Network

Blog, Facebook, Pinterest, Keep the house presentable

Cook and Bake, Meal Plan (my husband does the shopping)

Read, Drink Iced Tea or Sparkling Coconut Water

Eat Sunflower Seeds (yes the ones with the shells)

Turn the music up loud when I’m alone and sing  from the heart

Kisses and hugs to most who walk through my door

                                              Line dance, Swim, Yoga, Gym

Learn to use a real camera and

A few naps while watching the cooking channel

BUT whatever I’m doing….

I strive to live by this scripture:
