We all know that eating vegetables is very important to a healthy lifestyle.  This is one of our family’s favorite dressings.

Changing up the vinegar will give different dressings.

  1. 1/3 cup olive oil
  2. 1/3 cup canola oil
  3. 1/3 cup red wine vinegar or white wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar
  4. 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  5. 1 tsp dried mustard
  6. 1/2 tsp sugar or stevia
  7. 1 tsp salt
  8. 1/4 tsp black pepper
  1. Mix ingredients well.
  2. (I like to use a mason jar with a lid so I can shake the ingredients together)
  1. This dressing will need to be left out for a few minutes before using if it has been stored in the refrigerator.

  1. I can’t wait to try these out. I get pretty creative with salads, but not so much with the dressings. Everything with garlic and mustard is good, right? 😉


    • Absolutely – switching up healthy dressings is what keeps me interested in creating and eating salads so I can keep eating the rainbow.
