Perfect Wednesday Salad

Yesterday (a Tuesday) I decided I would treat myself to a salad at a nearby restaurant for lunch which ended up being pretty substandard. So this morning I headed to my refrigerator and pulled some salad fixings out and created a lunch to be proud of.

 I like to cook a few pieces of chicken, slice and divide up into freezer bags.  This way cooked chicken is just a freezer door away.

A variety of veggies and fruit make this chicken salad special.

  1. Romaine Lettuce, chopped
  2. Cauliflower florets
  3. Cucumber, sliced and quartered
  4. Carrots slices
  5. Cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  6. Green Onion, sliced
  7. Strawberries - sliced
  8. Dried Fruit (cranberries or pear), optional
  9. Raw Sunflower Seeds
  10. Cooked Chicken, sliced (optional if you don't want the chicken)
  11. Vinagarette Dressing
  1. Place all ingredients together and enjoy.
