This is a BIG moment in my life!
Drum Roll Please….Introducing
Deliciously Inspired’s First Cookbook
My appreciation for cooking started 40 years ago when I made my first sugar cookie. I have learned a lot in those four decades and many of the ingredients have changed due to food sensitivities in our family but I feel that each challenge increased my knowledge and allowed me to adapt standard style recipes to meet a variety of needs. It has long been a dream of mine to create a cookbook that would allow me to share tried and true recipes from my kitchen with others. These dishes have not only nourished my family and friends but have helped create memories as we gather in the kitchen during the preparation – the eating – and yes, even the clean up.
I enjoy the abundance of information on the web but I have missed not having the recipes gathered together in a cookbook format. I wanted A Few Favorites to be able to not only be utilized on a computer but as a hard copy version as well. Below you will see the different ways the recipes can be accessed:
- Download the cookbook onto your computer (desktop or laptop)
- Bring your laptop into the kitchen to pull the cookbook up to follow a recipe
- Print a hard copy in black and white*
- Print a hard copy in color* (You can have Staples, etc print out the cookbook to save the ink on your printer.)
*TIP: If you came into my kitchen – I would show you my makeshift cookbooks that sit on my shelf. You can do the same. Here’s how to create your own cookbook with your printed copy. Buy a binder and some sheet protectors. Now place the recipes into the sheet protectors. This will protect your recipe during the cooking process. Voila! – you now have a cookbook that is ready to pull onto your counter when needed.
This collection ranges from main dishes to desserts (Thai Pasta Salad, Gluten Free Brownies, Quinoa and Black Beans and Best Ever Pancakes are just a few of the recipes you will find. Note – Several of the recipes have not previously been shared on the blog). To purchase your copy please click HERE or you can find the cookbook in Deliciously Inspired’s new tab titled “E-Books”. (Once the transaction is complete, you will receive an email with the cookbook link for you to download to your computer and enjoy.)
I want to take this opportunity to thank God, my family (my husband and daughter for their continued technical support), my Deliciously Inspired friends and the many people who have been my taste testers for their encouragement. It was instrumental in making my dream into a reality.
From a Grateful Heart,
Debbie

Yay! I am so excited and proud of you!
Congratulations!!
What a great adventure!!
Have a blessed and wonderful day!!
We recently gave quinoa another try and LOVED it. I’ve been thinking about making your blueberry quinoa pancakes ever since. 😉
Elizabeth, So nice to see your post. That is great news. Funny how something doesn’t appeal to us and then later it tastes good. I would say that you will definitely like those pancakes now. Don’t know if you saw but my first cookbook is available – just go to the E-book tab on my website. Let me know if you try the pancakes and let me know what you think.
Hugs, Debbie
Debbie,
I’m so excited for you. You have such great recipes and your food always looks healthy and delicious. I’ll sign up to be one of the first four to receive the book and make one (or two or three.)
Kim
Kim,
Thank you Kim. I’m pretty excited too. I’ve put you on the list and sent you an email along with the cookbook. I really liked reading Like a Freak – another wonderful post, my friend. In fact I’m going to give you a shout out on Deliciously Inspired today.
Sincerely,
Debbie
