A Smoothie Recipe and the Calphalon Dutch Oven Giveaway Winner Announcement
When I was a little girl we always spent Christmas Eve at my paternal grandparent’s home. They didn’t have a house but a mobile home. One of the items my Grandma Leona (yes – this is where I get my Arkansas from) always had at Christmas was a box of those gooey Chocolate Covered Cherries. She didn’t keep them out on the coffee table with the jar of ribbon candy but safe in the pantry or china hutch. That was fine with me – they were never my favorite. However I took a step out of my comfort zone and created a smoothie with chocolate and cherries and I think it is delicious.
- 1-1/12 cups Unsweetened almond milk or your choice of milk
- 1 Serving Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1/2 Frozen Banana
- 1/2 cup Frozen Cherries (in AZ - Safeway)
- 1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 2-3 Ice cubes
- Place ingredients into blender and enjoy 🙂
- Protein powder can be left out.

Oh my goodness. I’m so excited!!! Thank you so much! My husband and I have been looking at these in the store for a long time. Can’t wait to try it out. This smoothie looks delicious. I just want to come to your home and have you feed me, Debbie. LOL 🙂
Congrats Kim on winning! :-D. I don’t like the taste of protein powder so I’ll leave it out bit the rest of this sounds delicious!!!
