Chocolate Coconut Protein Smoothie

One day I was longing for the combination of chocolate and coconut and came up with this beauty. 

Chocolate Coconut Smoothie

Chocolate Coconut Smoothie
Serves 1
All the flavors of an almond joy candy bar.
Write a review
  1. 1/2 cup of canned coconut milk
  2. 1/2 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk or milk of your choice
  3. 1/4 tsp pure coconut extract
  4. 1 Tbsp of cocoa nibs or chocolate chips
  5. 1 Tbsp of sweetened coconut
  6. Ice if needed to thicken
  7. 1 Tbsp of vanilla protein powder
  8. 1 Tbsp of cocoa powder
  1. Blend first 3 ingredients together.
  2. Mix rest of ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Combine dry and wet ingredients and Blend.
  4. Add ice to mixture and blend until desired consistency.

  1. Hi Debbie! Chocolate and coconut are a great combination. I’ll need to grab some coconut milk next time I’m at the store. Does the chocolate blend smooth or is it still a bit chunky? I’m fine either way……just wondering what to expect.
