A healthy alternative to an almond joy candy bar
Ingredients
- 2 cups pitted dates, merjoii
- 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/4 tsp pure coconut extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup chopped raw almonds
- Coconut Water, Almond Milk, or water if needed
- Mini cupcake liners and sprinkles and nuts to decorate
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients except coconut water/almond milk in food processor. Add a small amount of coconut/water or almond milk, if needed. The mixture should hold together but not be overly wet. roll into small balls, dip into sprinkles, place in liner and top with a nut.
- Store in airtight container in refrigerator or freezer.
